Day 1 • En route, arrival in Gaspe
Take advantage of your arrival in Gaspé to soak up the magnificent landscapes that surround you. Visit a restaurant in the city center to savor the delights of the sea.
Day 2 • Gaspe
Enjoy a unique experience joining the Safari-Zodiac to watch whales, seals, cliffs, and seabirds, comfortably seated on a twelve-seater zodiac, accompanied by a captain-guide-interpreter. The experience will allow you to discover the wonders offered by the Forillon peninsula and its marine environment, from the sea's perspective. On the program: observation of pinnipeds, eco-interpretation on marine mammals, sea birds , geology, landscape reading, history, navigation, winds, currents, tides, and more. Take advantage of the rest of the day to tour the picturesque lighthouses that proudly stand on the coast and are important symbols of the maritime heritage of Gaspe. Located at the end of Cap-Gaspe, in Forillon National Park, the small white lighthouse with a red roof certainly has one of the most beautiful views of the Gaspesian Point. You can even see the Perce Rock and Bonaventure Island when the weather is cooperative! A little further on, at a height of 34 meters and located on the side of the cliffs, the Cap-des-Rosiers lighthouse is the tallest lighthouse in Canada. With a little luck, you may be able to see whales in the distance. Finally, the Pointe-a-la-Renommee lighthouse, unique in its kind, is well worth the small detour necessary on the gravel road to get there. This lighthouse stands out as being the one that has traveled the most since it was repatriated from Quebec in 1997 after 20 years of exile. It was also the first maritime radio station in North America (Marconi station).
Day 3 • Gaspe
A magnificent day in Gaspe allows fans of walking, cycling (fatbike or regular bicycle) or inline skating to browse the walks and trails that crisscross the city in order to discover it from another angle. Gaspe also offers a wide variety of beaches… long pebble beaches, small coves protected by rocky capes and sandy beaches… there is something for everyone! Come and breathe the scent of the sea, pick shells, agates or a simple piece of wood strangely shaped by the sea. A day at the beach is also an opportunity to try sailing, go on a catamaran, do paddle boarding, kite surfing, in short, having fun on the water.
Day 4 • En route, departure from Gaspe
Now is the time to hit the road back with your head full of unforgettable memories.
